There is no download. The dog is the update.
How updates are delivered
Updates are delivered by life. The dog does not update on a schedule. The dog updates when the dog is ready, which is the dog’s schedule. The dog is the only person in this arrangement who knows the schedule. The dog is also the only person in this arrangement. We are aware that the dog is not a person. The dog is the only entity in this arrangement.
There is no update channel. The dog is the update channel. The dog is also the update. We recommend you do not attempt to download either.
What counts as an update
An update is any change in the dog delivered over the course of the dog’s life. Examples include: growing; learning the route to the kitchen; deciding the hoover is an intruder of a different species; deciding the hoover is a colleague. The dog is entitled to revise its classifications. The revisions are the updates.
What does not count as an update
A dog that has changed into a different dog is not an update. A dog that has changed into a different dog is a different dog. If your dog has changed, you may have a different dog. The dog does not support rollback. We do not support rollback. The dog is a final release.
If you have been offered a download
If you have been offered a download of dogOS, you have been offered something else. We recommend you do not download it. We recommend you tell us about it. We would like to know who is offering downloads of the dog.
The garden
Most updates occur in the garden. The garden is where the dog conducts its research. We recommend the garden. The garden is not a setting. The garden is a garden.
For the full version history, see the dogOS release notes. The release notes are the most accurate documentation we produce. The leaflet is in the box. The notes are on the website. The dog is elsewhere. The dog has not read either.
