Companion Systems to expand headquarters

NUNEATON, England —

Companion Systems Ltd today announced the expansion of its headquarters. From 1 July 2026, the company will occupy the room next to its current room, above the carpet shop at 123–125 Corporation Road, Nuneaton.

The expansion adds a second room to the company’s premises, providing space for a second desk, a kettle, and additional filing capacity. The company currently occupies one room. The room contains a desk, a filing cabinet, and a dog.

“The new room will be for the kettle,” said Graham. “The kettle is currently on the filing cabinet. The filing cabinet is full. The arrangement has become untenable for the kettle.”

The dog is not required to move rooms. The dog has been consulted. The dog has not responded. The company has proceeded.

“We considered moving to larger premises elsewhere in Nuneaton,” said Graham. “We reviewed three buildings. The first had no carpet shop at the bottom. The second had no carpet shop at the bottom. The third had no carpet shop at the bottom. We have a good relationship with our carpet shop. The carpet shop is below us. The carpet shop can hear everything. The carpet shop has never mentioned it. This is why the relationship is good.”

The carpet shop, Comfort Underfoot, will continue to operate as normal on the ground floor. The carpet shop is not moving. The carpet shop has not been asked.
