The Crestbridge Model

A family office is, at its core, a dedicated team of professionals managing the financial affairs of a single wealthy family. Most family offices are in Geneva, or Singapore, or London. These are, we suppose, adequate cities. They are not, however, UNESCO Cities of Media Arts. They do not have a maglev. Their crayfish situation does not bear discussing. We fail to see the attraction.

Crestbridge offers the same fundamental concept — a dedicated professional, in a dedicated office, with your family's name on the door — at a fraction of the cost. Your ayi is your team. Your desk is your headquarters. Changsha is your jurisdiction. The model is sound.

We do not manage investments. We do not provide tax advice. We do not engage legal counsel. What we do is far more valuable: we ensure that, at any given moment during business hours, someone is sitting at a desk with your family's name on it, in a city that has been designated a National Civilised City by the central government of China.

Translation Services

All Crestbridge tiers include our proprietary translation service. Your ayi provides regular updates about the office. These updates are in Mandarin. We translate them into English before sending them to you.

Our translations are interpretive. We capture the spirit of what your ayi is communicating, rather than the literal words, because the literal words do not always reflect the strategic weight of her observations. The spirit, however, is always about wealth preservation.

For Platinum clients, we also translate your outgoing messages into Mandarin before giving them to your ayi. She does not read them, but they are placed in a neat folder on your desk, which looks extremely professional during the monthly photo update.

Office Locations

All Crestbridge family offices are located in professional business centres in Changsha, a city where the maglev reaches the airport in nineteen minutes and the crayfish are beyond reproach. We currently operate from two locations:

Room 412, Changsha International Commerce Building, 88 Yuelu Avenue. A professional shared-office environment in one of the city's most established business districts. Reliable air conditioning. Excellent noodle shop on the ground floor. The lift was replaced in 2024.
