Declaration and consent

Please read the following declarations carefully. By submitting your application, you confirm that you understand and accept the terms of the National Pensioner Relocation Programme.

I understand that the Programme is a long-term residential solution and that return transport has not been modelled

I understand that I may bring one personal case weighing no more than 23 kg, and that this must include all possessions I wish to retain for the remainder of my life

I understand that visits from family members are not currently offered and that the nearest major population centre is in excess of 400 km from most retreat locations

I understand that I may send one letter per calendar month, subject to review by retreat staff, and that incoming post will be distributed within 90 days of receipt

I understand that winter lasts approximately eight months and that frostbite is considered a medical event which will be recorded in the retreat log

I understand that resident mortality is monitored closely and maintained within acceptable projections, and that families will be notified within 28 working days

I understand that my state pension will cease upon enrolment and that the Programme generates estimated annual savings of £181 billion through the cessation of state pension payments and a proportional reduction in NHS expenditure

I confirm that my 23 kg case will not include portable heaters, satellite phones, or maps

I confirm that all information provided is correct and that I wish to proceed with my application to the National Pensioner Relocation Programme. I understand that there is no appeals process.

Your application will be processed by the Hadrian Institute, Nuneaton. The Institute's mission is to apply rigorous quantitative analysis to policy questions, regardless of whether anyone has asked it to do so.

The Programme is not recommended at this time, but may be revisited should fiscal conditions change.
