Between March 2021 and November 2024 the subject posted, on one hundred and eleven occasions, that he had risen at 4am. He stated on forty of those occasions that he had done so for nine hundred consecutive days. Verification established six 4am rises in the period, of which two preceded flights, one preceded a plumber, and one was disputed by the subject's own conservatory, which logged a door opening at 6:51am.
The subject's counsel advanced the defence that the posts were 'aspirational rather than factual'. The court accepted that they were aspirational, noted that this was the offence, and returned a verdict by the lunchtime.
The subject is required to notify changes of circumstance within three days. The history below is the complete record of what the Office was told, when it was told, and what the Office found out anyway.
Registered at initial notification interview. Brought his own thermos. The interview room permits this.
Notified a change of circumstance: retirement of the alarm in question. The Office records the notification as compliant and the alarm as retired with full honours.
- Prohibited from posting before 07:00. The subject's device enforces this. The device was not ordered to do this; it volunteered.
- Required to present the phrase 'not everyone will understand your hustle' to an Officer for classification before use. Classification is pending. The phrase has not been used.
- Prohibited from addressing a room containing more than two persons on the subject of mornings.
Medium at conviction, declining. The subject is, in all other respects, early. He arrives at his own notifications early, has twice waited outside the building, and once brought biscuits for the Office's administrative staff, which were declined in line with policy and then accepted, also in line with policy.
The Register is public. The Office does not control what is done with an entry and does not record everything that is done with an entry. The log below is the portion that came back.
- Disclosed to one employer (existing employer; no action taken; the employer reports the sales figures improved).
- Disclosed to four group chats at the request of their members. Two of the group chats contain only the subject and the requesting members, who were already in the group chats.
The subject has asked the Office whether a certificate of completion exists for the notification period. There is no certificate. There is now a file note stating that there is no certificate, which the subject has asked to be certified.
